A wonderful
part of having your marriage ceremony performed by a civil celebrant
is the fact that you can personalise the ceremony to match your
personalities and what you want - change the words, add some poetry
and convey your feelings to one another in your ceremony. A civil
ceremony on average will take approximately 20 - 25 minutes. Your
ceremony should be a formal affair whilst still conveying the
celebration of your marriage.
When I meet with you we can
discuss your needs and how you want your ceremony to unfold. I can
also show you a selection of popular vows and readings to use as a
starting point and to personalise your ceremony if you wish.
Below is some information
to help you get started on planning your ceremony:
Phone & Book Your Date
The Sunshine Coast is a
very popular place to get married - particularly in the beautiful
Hinterland area. Booking your date is an absolute must, when you
book your date with me we will also discuss a time to meet with each
other.
SEND COMPLETED NOIM TO ME
A “Notice of Intended Marriage” must be provided to your celebrant
not less than one month and one day and not more than eighteen
months before the wedding date. This form can be supplied by
myself or downloaded from my web site

Please read this thoroughly and contact me with any questions.
After completion it needs to be delivered or posted to me with the
required documents.
A deposit of $100 is required when lodging the NOIM, this will hold
and confirm your date, with the balance is to be paid 7 days before
the ceremony.
MEET WITH THE CELEBRANT
At this meeting we will discuss what type of ceremony you would like
and I can supply you with some ideas and a display folder with
information and some sample ceremonies. This is your special
day so I encourage you to make the ceremony a reflection of
yourselves, together we will create a ceremony just for you.
