Notice of Intended Marriage
This must be provided to the celebrant not less than one month and one day, and not more than eighteen months before the wedding date. Download a Notice of Intended Marriage form here.
Documents
- An Original Certificate of Birth
- If born outside of Australia - Original Birth or extract of an entry of birth in an official register, a current overseas passport
- A Divorce Certificate / decree absolute
- Certificate of Death (of deceased partner)
- Court order permitting marriage of a party under 18 years
- Appropriate statutory declarations. These documents can be accessed from the Department of Justice website.
Please note that all documents are lodged by myself. This includes application for the Original Marriage Certificate from Births Deaths and Marriages.
